Children in Year 5  the opportunity to go on an action-packed residential trip to Robinwood.  Previously, in Year 5 and 6 visited Robinwood, but from 2025 this will be a Year 5 educational visit only. 

Robinwood is an outdoor activity centre at Barhaugh Hall in Alston, Cumbria. The children visit for two nights and enjoy three days of activities designed to improve communication, teamwork and resilience, which are at the heart of the vision of West Park Academy.

Children from West Park have visited Robinwood each year for a number of years.  Every time we visit, we see improvements and new additions to the centre - it gets better and better, which is why there is nowhere else we would rather go!

The Robinwood visit has been booked for Monday 8th December 2025 until Wednesday 10th December 2025 for current Year 4 pupils (Year 5 when they visit).
