Fundraising Update
As a school, West Park Academy staff, are keen to challenge ourselves and make a difference to our community at the same time. Last year we decided that we would complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in June 2022 in order to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance and site a defibrillator for community use within the heart of West Park.
Since this, we have liaised with West Park Levy Trust and Councillor Scott Durham, who have provided us with funds towards the defibrillator which will be accessibly sited at the school for the benefit of the whole West Park Community. We continue with our challenge and efforts to raise funds for both of these worthwhile and amazing causes and reach our fundraising target.
