Today we welcomed some new STEM Ambassadors into school.

Year 1 & 2 had Natalie Graham, a vet from Westway Vets who talked about the job she does and how to recognise when dogs feel anxious around you. 

Year 2,3 & 4 had a visit from some volunteers at Mott, McDonald & Bentley who discussed how waste water is cleaned.  They then did an activity where they used a range of resources to filter dirty water.

Year 5 & 6 had a visit from Neil Brimer who ran a session looking at bike maintenance and looked in detail at the parts of a bike and how they worked.  Year 5 have also been making their own windmills after being inspired by the visit from Dawn (Tekmar) on Monday.
