Potter World

As part of year 6's enquiry, we went to Potter's World to observe reptiles, amphibians and birds to understand how these animals have adapted to survive in their natural habitat.

A fab favourite was the chameleon who ate worms with precise accuracy using its long, sticky tongue. Also, we observed its unique eyes which can move in different directions at the same time to protect it from predators. Amazingly, it can also change the colour of its skin to light or dark tones to camouflage into the dense jungle depending on its mood.

Unfortunately, teachers have not adapted like the chameleon: It would make our job much easier.
