E-Safety Parent Sessions
Last year the children in Year 5 and 6 completed a survey, alongside all other children in Darlington of the same age. The results above represent our children from 2016/17. The current Year 5 and Year 6 children have recently completed this survey and results will be posted later in the year.
Across Darlington, and certainly within our school, there has been a rise in the use of modern technology and Social Media. West Park Academy, along with multiple agencies in Darlington, have signed up to form 'The Darlington Internet Safety Partnership'. The remit of this partnership is for all agencies to come together to develop a portfolio of resources to help promote and build digital literacy skills in all audiences including; children, young people, parents and schools.
At West Park Academy we are going to be running some sessions for parents to support the delivery of these key messages. Please fill in our quick form to express your interest and tell us how we can support you. As soon as sessions are organised, people who complete the form will be notified and invited to take part.
There are already links and documents to support you in our Keeping Safe Online section of our website.
